I do not teach yoga. I accompany people to rediscover themselves.

I am Giorgia —  Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator certified TCTSY-F, and currently Training in Compassionate Inquiry (a psychotherapeutic approach developed by Dr. Gabor Maté)

My work stems from a deep conviction: The body holds a deep wisdom.

I am Giorgia Teofilo, I am Italian and I have been living in Kuwait since 2014. I am a deeply passionate yoga teacher committed to creating a welcoming and safe practice environment for everyone. My mission is to offer comprehensive and accessible sessions, ensuring that every student feels supported and safe in their journey of discovery and self-realization. After starting my yoga practice in 2018 and completing my RYT 200 (Hatha Vinyasa Yoga) in 2022 in Kuwait, I discovered a deep calling for Trauma-Sensitive and Trauma-Informed Yoga. I firmly believe in the power of the body as a tool for healing, and my work focuses on supporting people in this process of recovering from trauma through movement. Currently, I am completing professional training in Compassionate Inquiry with Dr. Gabor Maté, with the future goal of offering a holistic approach that combines trauma-sensitive yoga and therapy.

What do I do?

I offer personalized and group yoga lessons for all experience levels.

●Traditional Yoga Flow: I teach classes such as Slow Flow, Vinyasa Flow, Yoga for Stress Relief, and Deep Flow. Each lesson is designed around a specific focal area (physical and energetic) to guide students on their journey of self-discovery.

●Healing from Trauma: I specialize in creating tailored programs for healing Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and trauma through movement and yoga.

I am a TCTSY-F (Trauma Center Trauma Sensitive Yoga Facilitator) and have the necessary skills to modify the practice according to the abilities or needs of the participants, such as those who have experienced injuries or permanent physical disabilities, ensuring yoga that is accessible to all.
